Golf Tips for Sidehill and Downhill Lies
The ball will leave the floor before your club makes contact with it though. The impact of a wedge hitting the ground will lift the ball slightly before the club face hits it. So this may work for some but ultimately that's why the wedges are that shape the ball should hot the sweet spot without making the adjustment.
And thats why this guy could never play.
Yeah, my problem is certainly flexibility. Spent the first part of my 20's always weightlifting, so I have a bodybuilder build. My left arm actually pushes into my chest on the backswing, do I just need to stretch and work on flexibility? I feel like my build hinders me...
This drill works really well
Kel Nagle used to line his hosel up behind the ball then swing in a similar motion you are teaching,Frank Phillips an other Aussie pro did the same, they did this before every shot during their glory days playing around the world, try it RUclips fans know more shanks,I also think this video is spot on cheers brother, from down under 👍🏌️♀️❤️
Now i shank both balls
Awesome. For these can we move the camera like 5-10 ft closer?
The camera is a bit far away to show us the pocket :(
i do this drill to stop my toe hits..
S'engager dans un tel discours est un privilège qui alimente la croissance personnelle et la stimulation intellectuelle.💖
Is this a scam for me to hit the subscribe button so I can actually see what's going on?
Sorry Coach you did not make it in the LPGA, but honestly is the best thing that happened to us ❤😂😊
Great drill
I wish you would have discussed weight shift/pressure.
I only do it on course. Never in practice
Cette conversation rappelle le pouvoir du dialogue pour combler les divisions et favoriser la compréhension. C'est une source d'optimisme dans un monde souvent divisé.✨
Awesome just got this strap and was looking for solid golf routine. How often do you recommend this during a week?
I'm gonna try this,thanks
Coach Carolin this is GOLD! About a month ago, I started really struggling with long iron contact. I DO NOT slice the ball (more of a push on misses), but anyway, my low point in the downswing was all over the place. I started practicing at home swinging with my ( RIGHT TOES ) up and it felt really good. Feels easier to get my left hip out of the way on the downswing (really freed me up). So, I went to hit range balls today for the first time to see if this helped me and voila! ... I was really squaring up on my 5 iron, with a good shallow divot in front of the ball and also hitting it a lot higher. If you wouldn't mind answering here, I'd like to understand more about why this move improves path? My theory is for me, this move stops me from swaying, but I'd like to hear your thoughts?
Look up the Rule of Twelve and give it a try. The Rule of Twelve focuses on ALWAYS landing the ball about 3 feet on the green from the nearest edge always. There is a simple ratio that determines which club you use according to how far away you are from your landing spot which is just 3 feet on the green. Of course an uphill pin or downhill pin will have an effect, but with a little practice you will learn how to make the proper adjustment club joice wise. Love the video and atttempting each chip with the toe slightly down to prevent the heal from grabbing. That actually is my most frequent miss. Thanks and be well.
Definitely the best coach around on the planet😊
You’re very kind!
The wisest pro for improving our game for sure
Thanks so much
Looks good but causes a steep downswing for me. Not easy to shallow the club with the right shoulder so high.
I have a RUclips video that deals with getting in the slot you might find helpful. My recommendation is to make a good backswing then work through the downswing. Hope this helps
@@Scratchgolfacademy Thanx a lot! Your attention is very pleasing and encouraging!
Some good tips for anyone starting out and anyone wanting to improve their chipping.. Just ignore the ‘too much talking comments’.
Great simple advice, this is the magic move
😊
👍⛳️
Crazy that I'm yet to see a single shot that was hit the way the 'teacher' actually taught lmao
👏👍
⛳️
what kind of english is the title? huh?
Thank you for this easy-to-understand tutorial. I have been spending some time at the driving range and recently played my first 9-hole game. Right now, I am much better at using the irons and the pitching wedge compared to the driver. I seem to be topping the ball too often with the driver. I will try to implement these ideas into my practice next time I am at the range.
Hope the driver goes better for you
You give us great tips and having fun at the same time ❤🌹💕😂
Please repeat the same thing but with different words ❤😂😊
Two fatted shots 😂

This is a very good video. I used to be a very good fader but was encouraged by a teacher to start drawing the ball which is a very different motion through the ball. As I’ve gotten older a draw is much more difficult to time so I decided to go back to my old fade, easier said than done. This video has helped me re-discover what I learned when I was a teenager about hitting a power fade. Excellent, excellent video, thank you for sharing.
Thanks David, glad you found the video helpful
I have a full length mirror at my garage golf net that helps with this.
That’s perfect
Went to the driving range first time today, I kept thinking too hard about hitting the ball rather than the swing. This is some solid advice will try out next time I go to the range 👍👍
I hope you make good progress
Another excellent tip Adam. Here in Sydney, we may have to wait a few days for enough sunlight to make this possible! Cheers and thank you - David
Thanks David
It’s called teaching guys…how can you talk too much while teaching.? Good stuff here, keep it up, Carolin.
Well you shouldn't keep your head still in a full swing. 🤷 Not only is this a great tip,but , this woman has great taste in her attire and decor. So much nicer to get a video tip from a beautiful woman than a guy
5.6 index with 38% up/down average. I liked the theory. I can hit most shots but probably choose poorly. Good job

Thanks
I use this trick to put.
👍
Thanks Coach 🤝
Thanks coach
my new bf golfs and he's gonna wanna golf and I'm more like professional gamer/engineering nerd and i have no clue how I'm going to do this. Sir I have way more trust in your skills than mine but i will see how this goes lol 😂
I hope it goes well for you!!
And don't pull your shorts up too high as you won't be able to breathe correctly 😅
I find that the more upward backswing works for me. Allows me to come down closer to my body....with a more direct route to give both loft to the ball...and hit a nice straight shot. I find that when I lower the arc of the swing, I'm more likely to not get enough loft on the driver swing, as well as more likely to add some kind of side spin.....making the shot harder to target well. I really like Schefflet's style. Can't come anywhere close to the flexibility of his shouilders, but I do find it's key to come back as far as reasonably possible on a wide backswing. Gives me time to both whip the club and synch up the timing with hip and shoulder swivel.
Thanks for the comment Joe
After a putting training with the pro, I gave my putter to be shortend 5cm, so I can get easier over the ball 😊👍⛳️
Glad to hear it
